Why Keep Hearing Aids Maintained?
Hearing aids are essential in helping you stay engaged with conversations, enjoy social activities, and hear important sounds in your everyday life. Regular maintenance ensures that your hearing aids function at their best, avoiding issues such as feedback, poor sound quality, or total device failure. When your hearing aids are well-maintained, you reduce the risk of feeling disconnected from the world and prevent unnecessary visits for repairs. We maintain NHS hearing aids free of charge.
Hearing aids are often small and fiddly and hard for people with poor eyesight and dexterity to maintain. That’s why we run a network of local drop-ins to keep hearing aids running.
Why Socialising is Important
Staying social is critical for your overall wellbeing. For individuals with hearing loss, social isolation can quickly become a problem if communication becomes too difficult. Regular interactions with friends, family, and community groups help combat loneliness, improve mental health, and increase your sense of belonging.
With well-maintained hearing aids, it’s easier to stay connected, communicate confidently, and participate fully in social activities.
Our services ensure you’re not only hearing better but also living better by staying engaged with the people and activities that matter most to you. Whether it’s attending social events, joining group activities, or just chatting with loved ones, staying social keeps your mind sharp and your spirits high.

Lipreading Classes & Drop-in Sessions
In addition to our Hearing Help services, we offer lipreading classes designed to help individuals with hearing loss improve their communication skills and confidence.
